Disney released the first teaser trailer for “Frozen 2” and it left us with more questions than answers.
While the two-minute trailer shows Anna and Elsa sporting new looks and ditching dresses for pants , it also has us wondering why Elsa is so desperate to navigate raging ocean waters. And who are the new characters briefly teased?
If you haven’t watched the teaser trailer yet, watch that here first . All good? “Frozen 2” won’t be in theaters until November 22, 2019, so let’s get into breaking down the trailer.
Why is Elsa trying to brave the rough ocean waters?
Disney
Instantly, the first thing that came to mind is that she’s trying to get some clarity on what happened to her parents. In the first film, we learn Anna and Elsa’s parents sailed away for an important meeting never to return home. They’re assumed to be dead, but there’s a chance they could be out there. Maybe Elsa is searching for clues?
How did Disney make this ocean water look so realistic?
Disney Animation
When the teaser footage first started, you may have thought you were watching a live-action shot with an animated version of Elsa planted into the scene. As the scene played on, it was easier to see that those waves were indeed animated, but they looked incredibly realistic.
Usually Disney and Pixar use their short films to test out items they want to use in larger features. The only short that came to mind while watching this is 2016’s excellent “Piper,” in which Disney/Pixar worked three years to get billions of sand pebbles and the ocean just right.
Why does Kristoff have a herd of reindeer?
Disney Animation
Maybe Kristoff’s ice business really took off. More importantly, maybe it means we’ll see his reindeer Sven have a new friend.
What has Anna so sad and what is that book she’s holding?
Disney Animation
Maybe Anna and Kristoff are planning a big wedding (if they’re not married already) and she’s looking back at photographs of her parents. Is Anna sad knowing her parents won’t be able to be there on her big day?
If so, does that mean Elsa is trying to figure out exactly what happened to them to give Anna some peace of mind?
Who are these two new characters?
Disney
The teaser briefly shows off a new, young woman in the forest. Another character springs into the sky, making some think that one of the characters may have powers similar to Elsa’s, but revolving around another season or element.
There are a lot of theories on who the two characters may be. One is that the young woman could be Anna and Kristoff’s daughter if the sequel takes place years in the future. Another posits that we may be looking at a flashback scene of a young Kristoff. The girl in the scene could be a potential love interest for Elsa in the sequel all grown up.
Does the new teaser poster have a larger meaning?
Disney
Olaf voice actor, Josh Gad, took to Twitterto tease that the poster may “reveal quite a few surprises “like how pretty a snowflake is up close).”
Of course, he may be joking, but some fans have taken what he said to heart. One thinks they spotted the four elements in the poster , hinting that we’ll meet people similar to Elsa with powers revolving around the other seasons.
His devastated sister Romina led the tributes to the talented footballer, saying: “Your soul will shine forever”.
The world of football united in grief over the loss, with Sala’s new club and teammates saying the Argentinian will “forever remain in our thoughts”.
Sala’s body was recovered from the small plane, which was found on the bottom of the ocean north of Guernsey, on Wednesday – more than two weeks after it disappeared.
The 28-year-old was identified by the Dorset coroner on Thursday – but so far there has been no reported trace of pilot David Ibbotson.
The footballer’s family has been told the devastating news and they are being supported by specially-trained family liaison officers.
“Our thoughts remain with them at this difficult time,” a spokesman for Dorset Police said.
“HM Coroner will continue to investigate the circumstances of this death supported by Dorset Police.”
After the announcement, Romina took to Instagram to say: “Your soul in my soul it will shine forever thus illuminating the time of my existence.
“I love you.”
Cardiff City shared the tragic news and said: “We offer our most heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the family of Emiliano.
“He and David will forever remain in our thoughts.”
Sala’s teammate Joe Bennett tweeted a crying emoji and wrote: “RIP Emiliano”.
Fellow Cardiff player Sol Bamba added: “Tragic… May you rest in peace.”
The devastating announcement came hours after Sala’s sister Romina posted a picture of the 28-year-old with their mum Mercedes ahead of the official news.
Fans reacted online by voicing their pain at the news.
The Piper Malibu N264DB plane went missing at around on January 21 en route from Nantes to Cardiff, where Sala was due to join his new club after a £15 million transfer.
An official search was called off on January 24 but more than £300,000 was raised by footie stars including Lionel Messi to fund a private search.
The wreckage was discovered by the Air Accident Investigation Branch and robots subs were used to pull the body out of the 220ft-deep water “in as dignified a way as possible” yesterday.
“In challenging conditions, the AAIB and its specialist contractors successfully recovered the body previously seen amidst the wreckage,” the AAIB said.
“The operation was carried out in as dignified a way as possible and the families were kept informed of progress.”
“We expect our next update to be an interim report, which we intend to publish within one month of the accident occurring.”
Shipwreck hunting expert David Mearns, who assisted in the second search, said his thoughts were with the family and friends of both Sala and Mr Ibbotson.
He tweeted: “Rest in Peace Emiliano.
“I was glad to provide some small comfort to Romina, Mercedes and the whole Sala family during the past two weeks but my heart goes out to the family and friends of David Ibbotson whose loss is the same.”
Last week the AAIB said two seat cushions believed to be from the plane were found off Normandy.
The wreckage of the aircraft was found on Sunday morning by Mr Mearns who used sonar technology to scan the seabed off Alderney in the Channel Islands.
Within a few hours boat FBV Morven picked up a signal and a remote-controlled submarine fitted with a camera was sent down to formally identify the wreckage.
Experts believe it entered the English Channel in one piece, which may explain why it has been found so quickly.
Sala’s plane vanished at around 8.30pm on January 21, with aviation experts claiming ice on the wings could have caused it to crash into the Channel.
The footie ace sent WhatsApp messages to his friends as the plane lurched in rough conditions, saying the plane “looks like it’s going to fall apart”.
He wrote: “Boys, I’m here on top of the plane that looks like it’s about to fall apart. And I’m going to Cardiff, crazy, tomorrow we already started. In the afternoon we started to train, boys, in my new team.”
The family of missing pilot David Ibbotson who is feared dead in the plane crash with Sala are reportedly “beside themselves with grief” as they do not know what has happened to him.
Mr Ibbotson’s wife Nora has been desperately waiting for news at her home in Crowle, near Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire.
The pilot has two families – he has a wife, an ex wife and children from both marriages.
Married dad-of-three Mr Ibbotson, from Scunthorpe, told pals he was feeling ‘a bit rusty’ just days before the doomed aircraft vanished with the £15million football ace on board.
The plane had requested to descend then lost contact with Jersey air traffic control.
Football agent Willie McKay, who brokered the deal, said the incident had “been an absolute nightmare for us”.
Football was united in grief for tragic Sala he was confirmed to have died in the plane crash.
Stars from around the world including Kylian Mbappe, Alexandre Lacazette and Benjamin Mendy led the tributes online after the coroner identified the body.
He wrote alongside the image: “RIP EMI.”
Diego Maradona, who was among those to call on authorities not to give up trying to find the footballer, posted a tribute on Instagram.
He told how many had kept a “light of hope” for the footballer, adding: “I send a big hug to your family and friends”.
Arsenal star Lacazette posted a photo of Sala with the message “1990-2019 RIP.”
Man City star Mendy posted a photo of Sala celebrating when in action for Nantes and wrote: “RIP.”
Chelsea’s Batshuayi, on loan at Crystal Palace, wrote: “Resting in peace.”
The Argentine Football Association wrote on their official Twitter: “We send our condolences to all your family and loved ones.”
I know a lot of eloquent men, men who speak like gods, men whose wisdom is evident in their speeches, men who bear it all in one take and wouldn’t go back to think about the words that should have been said. Unfortunately, I’m not one of them.
I have seen a lot of male models, men with brick-solid chest packs and clean-cut beards that are so charming that I too might have been tempted to touch if only I were a lady. As it is, I’m not a lady and even as a man, I do not fall in that category.
However, I’d like to think I write well. I write like men of history who burnt the night candle to pen down beautiful words on sleek sheets for their lovers. I write like men like Napoleon and Beethoven who chose to express the purity of their love in black and white – the way of pen and paper.
I understand that it might not exactly be a grand approach, especially not in this age and time. I still think it is stylish and I like the idea of it bringing my existence and my musings about our tomorrow, to your consciousness, since I do not know if our path has crossed yet.
I’m not sure if I have heard you giggle, speak or even sing. I cannot say if yours is among the many beautiful smiles I’ve seen in my time on earth but I still imagine how unbelievably beautiful you’d be, inside and outside. I cannot stop but think about how fittingly you’d complete me. Nothing causes me to smile better than the thought of how graceful a pair you and I would make. I look forward to that day when I can finally say, ‘I’ve found my diamond.’
Each passing minute is a step closer. Each new day draws it nearer. The idea of forever with you, excites me. My todays are spent on learning. I’m learning from Kanye and how he treats Kim like she is his world. I’m taking lessons from Jay-Z and the royal treatment he gives to Beyonce. I would forever draw inspiration from the lore about Obama and Michelle, and how she made him understand that he became President, only because she is by his side.
Perhaps we’d have an inspiring story of our own. Maybe I’d someday bump into you and while you’re at the top of your voice, I’d be staring at you, lost in the thought of how beautiful you are and somehow I’d find the right words to soothe you and get you to go on a dinner date with me, or perhaps you’d fancy one of my writings enough to send me a message that starts our journey to forever. I’m not really particular about the form or direction our story would take, so long it has happy endings for us two, it’s perfect.

A Nigerian man who got employed 24 years ago as an aircraft cleaner at Air Azman has persevered and rose through the ranks to become a captain in the aviation industry.
When Mohammed Abubakar joined Azman Air Services Limited, Nigeria’s Kano based domestic airline company over two decades ago, little did he imagine that he would ever become such a relevant person deserving of no less a position than a captain.

He has been awarded his “fourth bar to become a captain”.
